Benefits and Applications of CBC, CBN, and Other Minor Cannabinoids

Over 100 cannabinoids have been found in the hemp plant. THC and CBD, the two major cannabinoids, have been and continue to be widely explored, expanding our understanding of their benefits. Several recent research efforts, however, have revealed the different roles and potential of what are termed minor cannabinoids. Many CBD product makers and wholesalers are increasingly using the lesser cannabinoids CBC Wholesale and CBN Isolate Bulk, which are seeing an increase in customer demand. Let's find out what all the fuss is about!

Potential and Advantages of CBC

Cannabichromene, or CBC, is one of the 'big six' cannabinoids, or the six most investigated cannabinoids of the cannabis sativa plant. CBC Wholesale has the same origins as CBD, converting from CBGA to CBCA and then to CBC after being exposed to UV light or heat. CBC, like CBD, is non-intoxicating.

Because CBC does not bind well to the CB1 cannabinoid receptors in the brain, it does not induce a 'high' like THC. CBC Wholesale does, however, bind to various receptors in the body, including the vanilloid receptor 1 (TRPV1) and the transient receptor ankyrin 1. (TRPA1). Both of these receptors are associated with pain perception, and when activated by CBC Wholesale, they encourage the release of the body's own endocannabinoids such as Anandamide. It increases Anandamide uptake, allowing it to linger in the bloodstream for longer. Because of its anti-depressant and mood-lifting qualities, anandamide is known as "the pleasure molecule."

CBC has demonstrated a high potential for therapeutic effects, including inflammation, stem/progenitor cell activity, and mood.

CBC oils can be used to edible CBD products as well as topicals such as skin care formulations.

CBN Properties and Potential Advantages

Cannabinol, or CBN Isolate Bulk, is a unique cannabinoid in that it is derived from a plant other than cannabis sativa. It has a unique connection with the cannabinoid THC since it is formed by the external oxidation of THC. This means that when the plant is cut and stored, the acid form of THC, THCA, turns into CBN. It is a byproduct of THC degradation or external oxidation when exposed to air, when it eventually changes to CBNA. When exposed to UV light and air, the chemical transforms to CBN Isolate Bulk.

Cannabis sativa plants that have been improperly stored are frequently high in CBN. CBN does have psychotropic qualities, however they are minor in comparison to THC. Having said that, it has been shown to provide a variety of therapeutic effects, particularly in terms of sedative and bodily relaxation characteristics.

It provides many of the same benefits as THC, but is only around 10% as potent.

Some of the most noticeable advantages are pain relief, bone development and healing, as well as topical benefits including treatment for skin irritations and burns.

CBN Isolate Bulk can be put into topicals to improve the efficacy of pain relief and skin irritation balms, creams, salves, and lotions.
